Well, this was unexpected...
On Thursday I was informed that from over 1,200 entries into this competition I've, somehow, managed to be one of the final 25 photographers that will be showcased as part of The Best of Birmingham Exhibition, in the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter from November 10th.
This was judged by some wonderful people from Igersbirmingham, Birmingham Museums Trust, BrumPic. The competition was also supported by Trevor Beattie, famous for the 1990s Wonderbra advert "Hello Boys"
The 25 winning images will be printed and sold at auction with the proceeds going to the Birmingham Museums Trust.
